The Norland Scarecrow Trail
Now in its 10th year, the scarecrow trail began back in 2000 as a millennium celebration and proved to be a popular event,
organised by the Norland Community to raise funds for the village.
This years theme is Myths, Legends & Fairytales, You can expect to see anything from a fairy
to a dragon, with of course, lots of humour thrown in!
There are usually about 80 scarecrows and this year every junior school in Calderdale has been invited to add to the
scarecrow count.

The Event
Centred on the playing fields, the event has new improved trail sheets, scarecrow goodies and food and drink for sale,
plus lots more including appearances by "Friendly" and "Hebden Junior" Brass Bands.
Added Attractions
Include a small old-fashioned fair and a barrel organ with an old world charm!
