This years theme for 2015 is TBA 
There are usually about 80 scarecrows and this year every junior school in Calderdale has been invited to add to the scarecrow count.
WE WOULD LIKE YOU ALL TO JOIN IN "HAVE A GO AT BUILDING YOUR OWN SCARECROW" NO NEED TO LIVE IN THE VILLAGE ALL ENTRANTS ARE MOST WELCOME.

ATTRACTIONS FOR 2015
NB: All subject to weather permitting!
FRIENDLY BAND
On Saturday afternoon 2pm in the Memorial Park (or in St. Luke's Church)
HEBDEN BRIDGE JUNIOR BAND
On Sunday afternoon 2pm in the Memorial Park (or in St. Luke's Church)
CHILDREN'S FUN RIDES
On Shaw Lane Field
ICE CREAMS
On Saturday and Sunday at Shaw Lane Field and in the school playground
DON'T MISS
ROUGH HEY FARM
Will be offering scrumptious homemade cream teas over the weekend, with ample free parking.
ST. LUKE'S CHURCH
Will be open throughout the event for light refreshments, served from the kitchen which was partially funded by the festival.
Face Painting and Barrel Organ on Saturday and Sunday

The Event
Centred on the playing fields, the event has new improved trail sheets, scarecrow goodies and food and drink for sale, plus lots more including appearances by "Friendly" and "Hebden Junior" Brass Bands.

Include a Bouncy Castle

Over the last 15 years Norland Scarecrow Festival has raised over £45,000, which has been distributed locally to various projects and charities including those above.

Whilst we are able to give funding to various groups, we are mindful to keep enough money in the bank to run the event the following year.    Also help is always required during the festival weekend.  Remember the festival is for the children and adults to enjoy, to bring the community together, and to raise funds for our village and charities. "Many hands make scarecrow work"!!
