The following charities have benefited from funds raised
Yorkshire Air Aumbulance
Ward 7b stroke unit.
Local groups have also received funds and these are Norland School, St Luke's Church and The Luncheon Club.
The committee have reserved some funding over the last few years, to provide more equipment in the childrens park by the
moor and are currently in talks with Calderdale Council. We hope we can make this difference this summer. Also,
you may have noticed our boundary stones; these will be painted very soon.
Whilst we are able to give funding to
various groups, we are mindful to keep enough money in the bank to run the event the following year. Also
help is always required during the festival weekend. Remember the festival is for the children and adults to enjoy,
to bring the community together, and to raise funds for our village and charities. "Many hands make scarecrow work"!!
